JMC-WMU jointly hosted Symposium "New Technology FOR Seafarers’ Future "
JMC and World Maritime University (WMU, in Malmo, Sweden) held Symposium titled "The Future of Seafarers Created by New Technologies" on November 8th at the Sasakawa Auditorium in the WMU Main Building with which we have a partnership agreement.
The symposium provided a perspective from the shipping industry on the future of seafarers created by the diverse technological developments that have been progressing in the maritime field, and also discussed the latest research results about the impact of new technologies on the working environment of seafarers. Many WMU faculty and students participated in this symposium. Panel discussion including Q&A time was fruitful and continued beyond the allotted time.
